The combination Flegreo Swimming Centre (in Pozzuoli) and ButanGas was born almost from a challenge of a big local entrepreneur and his team and from the ability to look far of our Naples Branch.
Few years ago, in fact, the Flegreo Swimming Centre, located in an area of economic and social discomfort was a centre operating only in the swimming sector. Few members and old structures.
The will expressed by the business group to launch the initiative, the attention paid by the competent local authorities and our initial (small) sponsorship gave strength and vigor to the recovery plan and development of the sports centre that now has nearly 2000 members, European and Italian swimming champions a water polo team in the top divisions, skating, dance, gymnastics, etc.
It has also obtained all the permissions to be the largest concerts’ venue in all the Campania region (inaugurated by Massimo Ranieri in 2009).
ButanGas is today the primary sponsor of the Centre and has placed on the roof the sign "PalaButanGas" as well as many advertising posters in the inner area.
We are also present in a series of sporting events that do not foresee the presence of a large audience and of all ages.
ButanGas social responsibility also reflects in these initiatives that contribute to live together the local reality and provide the new generation with a clean, safe and positively competitive integration meeting point.

Few years ago we have entered this world, still little known by the big public, but in line with our approach philosophy to the market.
LPG is a clean, safe, cheap fuel, with great growth potential, and, similarly, sailing uses a clean strength such as wind, two determined boys with great potentialities (we expect that they  will qualify for the 2012 London Olympics) on whom we have invested a limited sum but we are sure that this investment will bring abundant fruits.
