ButanGas School Project – A “virtuous” aimed at High Schools
ButanGas, leader company in the LPG sector, has always believed in the value of education and has always been used to invest in the young people as a resource essential to successfully face the future challenges.
Today's students are indeed tomorrow's professionals: a precious heritage that deserves attention and investments in order to create trained and competent people.
Starting from these premises the ButanGas School Project has been activated four years ago and now more than 50 schools throughout Italy that have joined.
The ButanGas School Project creates synergy between schools and enterprises, where the student can "touch base" with the industrial world have a correct, updated, easily accessible to all training-informative plan on all the energy sources.
Project Contents:
• Information on the Energy World in general and on LPG in particular
• Safety and good installation technique in the LPG sector
• Efficiency and energy saving
• Ecologica culture
Program:
N. 2 meetings at school out of which:
The first with subject: “Today’s Energy World … and tomorrow?”, an attentive and updated picture of all the Energy sources, with historical hints, market data, incentives, technologies, developments, in order to highlight the efficiency and energy savings and the environmental problem concepts (each student will receive our "Energy Guide" and the teachers and a USB stick with the slides used during the meeting).
The second one, chosen by the school, on a particular Energy source and/or on the good LPG installation technique (it is possible, if ButanGas agrees and as an alternative to the second meeting, to visit one of our plants if it is in the nearby).
ButanGas grants an economic contribution at the end of the second meeting of € 500,00 (five hundreds) that the School can use for the purchase of education material or for scholarships.
The only compensation we expect is to make known a reality of success as the ButanGas and the values on which it is based and also to educate the new generations to a proper use of energy and to avoid waste (the cleanest energy is saved).
